Quinn Rhodes is a freelance journalist, sex writer, and Professional Transsexual.

Quinn’s work focuses on dismantling shame and queering sex. His journalism – which frequently explores sexual health, reproductive justice, queer culture, and blow jobs – aims to change how people think and talk about intimacy and gender.
How he got here:
Let down by the lack of inclusivity in mainstream conversations about sex and the sex ed he received, Quinn started writing six years ago to figure out what sex could look like for him. Since starting his sex blog in 2017, he’s completed a degree in journalism and realised he was trans – it’s hard to say which has a bigger impact on his writing.
Why he writes:
Quinn’s writing is fuelled by nerdy curiosity – and sometimes frustration with the cisnormative language used when discussing “women’s” health conditions like vaginismus. He takes an anti-capitalist and unapologetically queer lens to his work. Quinn believes there is value in journalists being able to bring their whole selves to their writing, and is proud of how his transness, bisexuality, mental illness, OCD and autism influence his work.
What he’s working on now:
Quinn is currently open for new commissions and YouTube script writing clients. If you’d like to discuss working together, please get in touch. (He’s also working to put together a definitive list of every time PrEP has been mentioned in a piece of mainstream media – Red, White & Royal Blue is the latest entry.)
Where you can find him:
You can find Quinn’s journalism in publications such as VICE, Mashable, Cosmopolitan, and Gay Times – check out a full list of bylines here. His bi-weekly (ish) newsletter, Genderbent, explores gender, transmascilinity, and mental illness is the best way to stay up to date with his adventures in existing as a trans person in public in 2024 and his medical transition.
If you’re here for the filth, you can can find all of Quinn’s audio porn on his sex blog, On Queer Street. And if you want physical mini zines containing exclusive erotic stories posted to you, you can check out the Porn By Post project on his Patreon.
In the real world, Quinn can most often be found in queer independent book shops buying books he is definitely going to get around to reading… one of these days.
